Terrence Wilson Host of "Changing a Generation" Interviews Political Activist Jeff Johnson Live on the VoiceAmerica TM Channel Online Talk Radio Network
PHOENIX - Political activist and media analyst, Jeff Johnson, will be interviewed by VoiceAmericaT Network host Terrence Wilson on "Changing a Generation" June 7, 2007. Jeff Johnson has had extension experience as a political activist within the African-American community and will be discussing the importance of participating in the political process. Believe it or not, the African-American community today is just one generation away from legal segregation. Through the Civil Rights Movement, African-Americans were able to press their way into legally defeating injustices in American, and the beginning of Dr. King's dream was being birth.
Now it is almost 40 years after the death of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and while much progress has been made the journey to freedom is still filled with struggle. Divisions between the middle class and the lower class as well as liberalism versus a growing number of conservatism has lead to discussion on who is the blame for the stagnation of the community as a whole.
Leading this discussion will be grass roots activist, Jeff Johnson, who is well qualified to discuss the current condition of the African American community and also what can we do in order to get back on track.
